Who Is Eligible For A Church Extension Loan

Church Extension offers an array of financial services that will help congregations and church organizations achieve their goals. Our desire is to provide dynamic ways for Disciples congregations and organizations to plan and manage their financial affairs as faithful stewards in obedience to Christ.

Qualification Criteria

A congregation or other church organization may be qualified for a Church Extension loan provided they meet the following criteria.

• They are an eligible borrower
  
• The loan is for an eligible purpose
  
• Collateral requirements for the loan are met
  
• Loan fees are agreed and paid
  
• Requirement concerning other lenders are satisfied
  
• Key Person Insurance requirements are satisfied
  
• Requirements for subordination are satisfied
  
• The loan conforms to an appropriate "Risk Rating" as determined by Church Extension
  
• Borrower shows sufficient proof of ability to pay back loan and all appropriate interest
  
• Borrowers agree to provide annual financial reports to Church Extension, so long as the aggregate balance of all Church Extension loans to the borrower remains greater than $250,000.
  
• Other requirements as deemed necessary by Church Extension
