Green Building Services
Green Audits/Green Construction Consultations – A Green Audit or Green Construction Consultation will help your congregation identify ways to renovate or construct your building and adjust your operations to be more energy efficient. Services are provided by LEED*-certified consultants and affiliates.
*The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
Green Loans – Church Extension offers loans of up to $100,000 at a low fixed rate of 5.75% for five years that can be used for green construction or to upgrade heating/air conditioning systems; replace or repair inefficient windows; insulate, rewire or weatherproof entire building; or to improve other operations to become a more energy-efficient church.
Green Investments – At 3.00%* for 30 months on investments of $100 or more, Green Investments support Church Extension’s Green Loans program, while generating a return to benefit your family’s financial future.
*Investors who commit to “go green” with all electronic transactions and statements after initial investment will earn 3.25% on their investments.
